This is a three point perspective project I did last semester.
I enjoyed doing 3pt more than any other project!

5pt Perspective
This is a 5pt perspective assignment for my class last semester.
It was supposed to be a dangerous part of town but, after putting in the graffitti on the wall it looked too cute to be dangerous. So I just went with it. =)

Little Red Riding Hood Inked
Happy New Year!!
This is the finished ink version of my Little Red Riding Hood cover.
I wanted to give Red's hood a plaid pattern but I have not figured out how to do that just yet.
perhaps in the future I will give it another go.
I hope your year is off to a great start. =}

Little Red Riding Hood
This is the cover for my little red riding hood comic from my sequential art class.
I really fell in love with inking in this class so I made this cover with the intention of inking it.
I will post the inked version on the next update.
Thanks

Pin-up girl
Hello,
These are some of the sketches for project 3 in my illustration class.
We were supposed to pick a person that was "large than life" and do a piece based on that person
I Choose Vilma Banky, she was a 1920's silent film starlet.
Originally I was looking for a pin-up girl and found Vilma on Wikipedia. I recognized her from the film "The Son of the Sheik" and I was like, she is awesome!
I really like the blue bottom center sketch but, I think the top red sketch has more of the pin-up quality I am looking for.
The final piece will be on a piece of a bamboo window shade(I found it on clearance for $7!) using acrylic paint.

Trad Illustration - Right!
Hey there,
These are a few of the many thumbnails for my first assignment in my illustration class.
We were given a random word and we had to make a black and white illustration conveying the word and it's opposition. we had to use line and silhouette.
My word was right.
My first reaction was, "oh man what am I going to do with this", but then I did a little research on the term. The right side of the brain is supposed to be creative and artsy and in many cultures the right side is masculine and symbolized the sun. while the left side is feminine and symbolized the moon. So this is what I came up with.=)

Color Analysis
Hello,
Here is another project from my color theory class.
This was a color analysis, we took a famous painting and had to reproduce the colors using ½"x½" colored squares.
After this project I had nightmares of little colored squares trying to eat me...no! Just Kidding, this was a really cool project. =)
Thanks

Painting Walls
Another Color Theory Assignment.
This assignment was pretty cool. I took a picture of my apartment and recolored the space. I originally wanted to go with a pink and green pallet inspired by watermelon (I love watermelon), but later decided that might not be the best fit for my personality. It is my room after all. So I took my sketch into Photoshop and messed around with the color possibilities. I decided to go with a green to blue color palette while looking a an opal ring my boyfriend gave me.
I still had the pink wall in place from experimenting with the watermelon theme and noticed that the pink really brightened up the room. So I left it, and this is the result.

Looking at the Sky
Hello,
So here is the update. I am taking a color theory class, it's pretty cool so far.
This class has been very therapeutic because, I don't have to worry about the grade or anything. I can concentrate solely on having fun and expressing my creativity however I want to.
It has helped me to remember what I enjoyed about art in the first place. After being In school for so long sometimes I get so busy and stressed out that I forget all the love I have for the art, but now I remember, and I hope to never forget again. =)
